A lot of ham hocks look nasty and freezer burned. These are individually shrink wrapped and are in beautiful condition. I use them constantly in beans and soups. The smoke is there but not overpowering. You can't go wrong here.

I just received my first order of this. The first of many to be clear.
I love biscuits and gravy on a Saturday morning but my wife doesn’t like highly seasoned foods, particularly the standard issue store-bought breakfast sausage. I tried the Stoltzfus sausage because the reviews said it was mild. We had it this morning and it was perfect! I added a little cracked black pepper to mine and she had hers as-is. So, for us, the mild seasoning worked out perfectly - we both were happy with an amazing breakfast of biscuits and gravy. Stoltzfus makes exceptional sausage and may have saved a marriage.

I grew up in DelMarVa around Amish country and some of the best small batch scrapple around. Those days are long gone but a few years ago a friend of mine sent me a package of Stoltzfus’ scrapple and I’ve never looked back. This is THE BEST. Full stop. You know scrapple is phenomenal when it wants to fall apart in the pan. That means there isn’t a ton of filler and corn meal. Stoltzfus’ scrapple is exactly that and the seasoning & flavor profile is PERFECT. Please never change this product. People gift it to me and I buy it myself. Thank you for making an amazing product.
