This week, we would like to introduce you to George, who works as a salesman on our wholesale team here at Stoltzfus Meats. George works closely with the managers of our own retail locations, as well as grocery stores, restaurants, and distributors who purchase our products. I’ll let his answers tell you a little bit more about who he is and what he does!

Q: Three words to describe you:
A: Driven, sincere, optimistic
Q: What are the main responsibilities of your current job?
A: I oversee sales through strategic planning, build relationships with our current wholesale customers, work internally with managers on intercompany sales, and handle new business development. I also encourage coordination and development of teamwork between departments within Stoltzfus Meats to build team relations, thus increasing company growth. Additionally, I focus on and lead new product development initiatives.

Q: What do you like most about Stoltzfus Meats?
A: Authentic people, Christ-centered, and focused leadership. There is also a company-wide belief in the products we sell, because we make some of the best products available in the world. We truly care about each other and our customers and are driven by doing what is right.
Q: What is your favorite Stoltzfus Meats product?
Q: If you could go anywhere or do anything for a day, what would you do?
A: I would love to go to the Grand Canyon or go back and visit Colorado.

As you can probably tell, George brings a lot of energy and creativity to Stoltzfus Meats! He’s constantly offering ideas for new products and new partnerships.
