If you've never heard of a Fry Pie before, you are in for a treat! Fry Pies are handheld pastries with a sweet fruit filling. Perfect for Breakfast or for a lunch dessert. Our Fry Pies are made by a local Amish baker with simple, quality ingredients: flour, shortening, salt, water and a touch of sugar and homemade fruit filling. The fruit filling contains no artificial preservatives or food colors. The dough is rolled through a sheeter, then the pies are stuffed with the filling using a hand crank machine before being fried in shortening. Finally, they are glaze them with a simple glaze made of sugar and water. You will love this delicious and filling Amish dessert classic!
Your Fry Pies will arrive carefully packed in a four pack featuring one each of the following flavors:
