Cooking and Care Instructions

Keep Refrigerated or Frozen. Unopened in the refrigerator product will last 7 days. Frozen product should be used within 6 months after the "Use or Freeze by" date. All product will be shipped frozen. If product starts to thaw or is thawed on arrival put right back in the freezer if not using right away.

Perfect

I just received my first order of this. The first of many to be clear.
I love biscuits and gravy on a Saturday morning but my wife doesn’t like highly seasoned foods, particularly the standard issue store-bought breakfast sausage. I tried the Stoltzfus sausage because the reviews said it was mild. We had it this morning and it was perfect! I added a little cracked black pepper to mine and she had hers as-is. So, for us, the mild seasoning worked out perfectly - we both were happy with an amazing breakfast of biscuits and gravy. Stoltzfus makes exceptional sausage and may have saved a marriage.

The cheese spread was to die for. Heaven on a cracker! The pan sausage could use more seasoning. So do you make a spicier one? I added sage, crushed pepper, and rosemary. Was not greasy!!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We do not carry different flavors of the loose sausage but we have different flavors available in our rope sausage and our sausage grillers. If you are looking for loose sausage, you could get one of the other options and simply cut the casing off to get the loose sausage.

Best all around sausage.

I used it in spagetti sauce, and for breakfast. Next order I plan on eating as a Burger with green chili and cheese. Great product.
