Cooking and Care Instructions

Keep refrigerated or frozen. Pan fry with oil or bake for 45 min at 350 degrees in a covered baking pan or dish. Add a little water to the baking pan to help retain moisture. Cook to internal temperature of 160.

I left Pennsylvania when I was 17 to join the Army and haven't been back since. I'm now in my sixties, and one thing I've really missed—and haven't found anywhere else—is this kind of sausage. When I discovered it was available here, I ordered it and crossed my fingers. The order arrived promptly, everything was well packed, and it survived the trip just fine. I was so excited that we immediately decided to cook the sausage for dinner.

It was everything I remembered. The flavor took me right back to my family's dinner table in PA when I was a child. It was so good! However, there's one fatal flaw: when I returned to the website to order more, the 5lb mild sausage was, unfortunately, out of stock! Darn it! Please hurry and make more!

If I had any suggestions, it would be also offer it in 10lb bulk packages. I for one, would order it!

Delicious!

This rope sausage has excellent flavor. I sauteed this with cabbage and new potatoes, seasoned with salt, pepper and a little brown sugar. It was a really good complete meal!
