Meat & Greet: Tricia

Meat & Greet: Tricia

Cayla Stoltzfoos |

In this week's Meat & Greet segment, we're going to get to know one of our most behind-the-scenes employees a bit better. We are so excited to introduce you to Tricia who works in our corporate offices!

Q&A

Q: Tell us a little about yourself and what you like to do in your free time.
A: I am a grandma so I like to spend time with my grandson. I enjoy sewing, reading, and going for walks in the woods with my dog, Wilson.

Q: What is your current role at Stoltzfus Meats and what does a typical day look like for you in that role?
A: I push buttons and move papers. In all seriousness, my title is administrator of finance. Over the 6 years I’ve been here, that has included a lot of different things. Each day, I have different tasks to do and that keeps it interesting. For example, on Mondays, I take care of payroll and running reports for our retail locations. The other days I take care of various financial tasks. I’m also back-up support for the administrative assistant and help to answer phones or work with wholesale customers as needed.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
A: Australia! I will make it there one of these days. I want to see all warm and fuzzy wild animals like the koalas and kangaroos, but I don’t want to see the big poisonous spiders. In my mind, Australia seems warm.

Q: What is your favorite Stoltzfus Meats product?
A: I still think our sweet bologna is my favorite, but I like our sticks too. A good sweet bologna and cheese sandwich is comfort food to me and ours is the best in all the land. I’ve also started buying a lot of our chicken salad because my grandson absolutely loves it.

We are so thankful for Tricia and the many things that she does behind-the-scenes here at Stoltzfus Meats! She helps keep things running smoothly across the entire business. We appreciate Tricia, her commitment to her work, and her sense of humor!
