Q: Tell us a little bit about your connection to Stoltzfus Meats. How long have you worked here? 

A: I moved to Lancaster in 2012, and met Myron’s daughters during the first week that I lived here. Through them, I was introduced to the delicious world of Stoltzfus Meats and when a role in the office opened up in 2015, it was an easy decision to apply! 

Q: What is your current role? What does a “typical” day at Stoltzfus Meats look like for you? 

A: My current title is Assistant to the President & CEO and Marketing Generalist. At the moment, I’m in the office one day a week. That day is usually full of helping Myron and Travis with various projects, collaborating with the Ecommerce team on marketing tasks, and scheduling social media posts. I never quite know what is coming my way when I walk through the door, and I love that!  

 

 

Q: What is your favorite Stoltzfus Meats product? 

A: It’s a hard call, because everything is so good, but I’d have to say our bacon! It’s the perfect thickness, has an amazing flavor, and goes well with literally everything (including dessert – like the Brown Butter Bacon Pecan Pie recipe on our website!) A favorite meal for my family is a BLT bar; I love it because it’s quick, full of flavor, and customizable for everyone’s preferences (so there’s no complaining at the dinner table😊 

 

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?  

A: I love having adventures with my family, eating delicious food, laughing with friends, crocheting, thrifting, and reading a cozy mystery.  

 

Q: If you could go anywhere or do anything for a day, what would you do? 

A: I would gather all of my favorite people in one place, and spend the day cooking and eating together!
