Here at Stoltzfus Meats, we’re all about convenience for our customers. We want to provide you with the best products that are also easy to make and serve to your friends and family. Enter: Stoltzfus Meats Farmhouse Meals!

Remember a few weeks ago when we featured Kathy on the blog? Kathy is the head cook of the Farmhouse Meal line and often the creator of the recipes used in these items.

Our Farmhouse Meals are side dishes or entrees that are made in small batches by three of our lovely cooks. You may ask, why are they called “Farmhouse Meals?” Well, it’s because they are cooked in the farmhouse located on the original home farm of the Stoltzfus family. This is now where the beautiful Stoltzfus Homestead event venue is located.

These delicious, prepared from scratch foods, do not contain added preservatives or salt, much like other pre-cooked, store-bought food items might. Each week, upwards of 500 pounds of product is made in our farmhouse kitchen… our cooks certainly stay busy!

prepping a precooked meal at the farmhouse

Because the Farmhouse Meal items are pre-cooked, all you need to do is pop the plastic lid off the top of the microwave and oven-safe container, poke some holes in the plastic film or tear back the corner, and warm them in the oven (or microwave) until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Does it get any easier than that?

Some of our most popular Farmhouse Meal items include: beef shepherd’s pie, ham balls, and macaroni and cheese. Here is a full list of products from our Farmhouse Meal line:

Ham Balls in Pineapple Glaze

Beef Shepherd’s Pie

Lasagna

Mac & Cheese

Twice Baked Potatoes

Green Beans Glazed with Almonds

Sweet Potato Casserole

Mashed Potatoes

Pork & Sauerkraut

Chicken Croquettes

Beef Pot Roast

Fully Cooked Baby Back Ribs

Gourmet Cheesy Potatoes

The full Farmhouse Meal line is sold at our Intercourse, PA store and a few of the items, including lasagna and twice-baked potatoes, are available at the Salads counter at New Castle, DE. In addition to the Farmhouse Meal line are lots of soup options, which are also made in the farmhouse kitchen.

All of the convenience of a grocery-store frozen meal, without all of the preservatives, processed food, added sodium, etc. And don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone that we were the ones working in the kitchen for hours… you can take all of the credit!
