In a world where Amazon free shipping sets the gold standard it makes it very hard for small businesses like ours to keep up with the Joneses. As opposed to our much larger ecommerce competitors, we don't turn towards third party warehouses to fulfill our orders, or a fleet of private shippers to get them out to you in time. Not that there's anything wrong with handling business that way. It's just not us.

We believe in keeping jobs local and in the personal touches that go a long way to customer satisfaction, the same as was the case when my grandfather first founded Stoltzfus Meats 70 years ago.
Your order arrives via our website, or perhaps you called in and spoke with one of our team members. From there it electronically goes to our shipping platform where another team member looks it over, prints out your order and label and takes care to pick each item carefully and pack it for optimized temperature control during transit to your home. We then rely on Fedex or UPS to get our packages from our home base to yours.
Though we can't control how your package is handled during transit, we pride ourselves in handling any mishaps that might happen along the way swiftly and to a satisfactory conclusion for our customers.
In fact, we're always looking for ways to make the order fulfillment process even better for our customers. We've recently gone to great lengths to source denser and thicker liners, which will keep your food colder for even longer during transit during hot summer months. In addition, we'll be increasing the amount of dry ice we use as the days become warmer and warmer so that even in the thick of summer you can expect your Stoltzfus Meats products to arrive at an optimal temperature.

Orders $99+ come with free shipping. There is a flat shipping cost of 19.99 for all orders under $99. Gift boxes include free shipping. We ship out on Monday-Thursday. Orders after 2pm or Friday-Sunday will be processed the next shipping day.

We use a variety of shipping services with the goal of a transit time of 2 days or less. Sometimes packages are delivered with a transit time of more than 2 days. If your product arrives late and is spoiled or is damaged in transit please reach out to our customer service team at myorder@stoltzfusmeats.com and we will work with you to rectify your order.

It is normal for product to thaw out in transit. If your meats are 40 degrees or more in temperature upon receipt, please reach out to us for a refund or replacement. According to the USDA, meat that has thawed out can be safely refrozen.

On occasion we run out of stock or are short-staffed. In these rare instances, please be patient with us as we work to fill your order as quickly as possible.
Our loyal customers are the lifeblood of our business. We cannot thank you enough for your support.
