About Stoltzfus MeatsStoltzfus Meats has been in business since 1958 producing fine quality fresh smoked meats. The business began with Amos Stoltzfus taking Lancaster County products to an Amish retail stand at a farm market. As demand for these quality fine meat products increased, Amos started making and selling his own meat products. As time passed, Amos' family became interested in the business and have been carrying on the tradition of processing a wide variety of fresh and smoked meat products. These include our award winning old fashioned sweet bologna, fresh country sausage and hamloaf (the same sausage and hamloaf served at Stoltzfus Farm Restaurant), smoked ring bologna, shankless and boneless hams and bacon, smoked sausage, sausage grillers, smoked turkey, scrapple, kielbasa and dried beef. Today Stoltzfus Meats is led by the second generation. Amos' son,
Myron Stoltzfus, is the current President and has taken the business past
the half century mark. About Intercourse, Pennsylvania Intercourse, PA is rich in heritage and culture. It is a town full of delightful treasures and friendly shopkeepers, nestled amongst scenic Amish farmland. It is the hub where the Amish and local folks do their business and host thousands of visitors each year. The beautiful Amish farms surround the Village, which is located on the Old Philadelphia Pike (Route 340). Intercourse is in close proximity to all Lancaster Country attractions
and, in particular, our sister Villages of Bird-In-Hand and Strasburg. The
Village stands as a clear reminder of our traditional American heritage as
people live by a simpler way of life. These roots mark the community
of faith to this day, and the many evidences of it are experienced by
those who care to dig a bit more deeply in their Amish farmland venture. As a side note, a portion of the Paramount motion picture "Witness", starring Harrison Ford, was filmed right here in Intercourse!
